Trekking with us

Trek With Us and the profits, after covering the costs of guides, porters and the trek will be used on projects in the local communities. There are many people in the villages who are very experienced in the field of trekking and mountaineering. PAN’s focus is to provide employment to the village people, providing them with a supplementary source of income and encouraging them to remain in the area, rather than seek employment abroad or in the cities.

Trekking in Nepal:

If you are reasonably fit, you are fit enough to trek in Nepal. While trekking in Nepal you will easily forget your home. You will want to stay longer in those trekking camps, to enjoy the tranquillity at night, the cool and fresh breezes and the fascinating mountains turning from silver to rich gold at sunset. While trekking in Nepal, every day you will wake up with the chirping call of birds and will enjoy a warm welcome smile of beautiful mountains. You will watch your camp lit up by thin rays of the rising sun in the morning.

Nepal has a large number of trekking routes for everyone to enjoy, meeting a wide range of interests. You might have a problem of choosing a right trail in Nepal; in such a case PAN can assist you in selecting a trekking route for you to enjoy.

When to trek:

You may visit Nepal at any time of a year for trekking. However, October through May is the best period for trekking. Though the summer time may not be best to offer enchanting views of the mountains, it definitely offers one of the periods for special interest treks.

During the autumn, everyone rushes to the beautiful trekking trails in Nepal because of the tantalizing mountain views. Autumn season offers excellent views of high mountains and a comfortable stay in the low mountains. Snowfall at higher elevations is common at this time of year.

Special interest trekking is best during the spring season that starts in late February. The colourful rhododendron forests - the national flower of Nepal - offers a memorable picture, blooming pink, reds and white at this time of a year. The nature will mesmerize you with the wild orchids and flowers; and with different species of birds and butterflies on the trekking routes during this season.

The recommended trekking routes are as follows:
